The Digital Media Coordinator will work alongside the Marketing Team to monitor, develop, and organize content for the Company’s various social channels. The Digital Media Coordinator is also charged with streamlining the Company’s online presence and monetizing any/all social channels using traditional and innovative strategies. The ideal candidate will be creative, innovative, and multimedia savvy.
The Digital Media Coordinator will primarily focus on:
- Supporting all marketing initiatives
- Implementing & executing all social media and digital marketing strategies
- Monitoring and managing multiple social media channels (ie; Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, Pinterest, etc)
- Performing audits across the Company’s social media channels, email database, website, and overall digital presence – this also includes the profiles of individual members of the sales team
- Implementing any and all digital communications and campaigns including managing the development, design, approval, production, and distribution of digital material
- Creating monetization strategies and revenue opportunities from our digital assets
- Researching and monitoring market trends and competitors in the digital space
- Liaising with all agencies for deliverables and helping to develop creative and innovative content for all platforms, including Social Media, videos, email lists, etc.
- Developing and sourcing content for all digital platforms (Social media, website, etc.)
- Measuring the success of campaigns and introducing new initiatives and ideas to drive traffic to the Company’s digital platforms
- Developing budgets and driving monetization efforts of all the company’s digital assets, wherever possible
- Any other related/similar duties as required
In order to perform these duties to the highest level the ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Media or a related field
- Active presence on social media, with at least 5+ years in the digital space
- Excellent copywriting and copy-editing skills
- Excellent knowledge of trends and online marketing strategies on a global and local scale
- Highly organized
- Strong computer literacy
- Project management experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of web analytics and SEO
- Strong presentation and reporting skills
- Experience in real estate, photography, video creation, drone operation is a plus
- A reliable motor vehicle is an asset
